Nov 16, 2017

This week on "Rebel Hearts": Kristie speaks with Dr Colbey Forman, founder and pioneer in the field of Psychoneurology as well as dean and founder of Beurin University.  Dr Forman lived in Jerusalem’s ancient “old city“ where he studied Kabbalah and received its rabbinic ordination, while teaching and developing Psychoneurology and speaking regularly in London at universities and colleges such as Oxford, Cambridge, Manchester and Leeds. In his approach he bridges ancient wisdom with modern day technology and provides drug-free solutions for those diagnosed with ADHD, OCD, anxiety disorders, virtually any psychological malady.

In today's show we talk about the solution focused approach that psychoneurology provides. We know that our energy flows where our attention goes, which means that trying to negate a so called "block" or even diagnosis brings more energy to the problem. Learn about how Psychoneurology focuses on adding new resources in people's lives in order to move them from a place of struggle and surviving into a place of thriving.

Dr Forman shares how our mind works and how we can learn to cultivate happiness. We talk about the effects psychiatric labels have and Dr Forman shares his approach on working with people who have been diagnosed with a psychiatric disorder. Find out about the principal of Psychoneurology which teaches that each individual is already perfect and complete and thereby can achieve true thriving by integrating new resources and learnings.

Dr Forman also speaks on the power that shame holds in our life and provides an antidote to it, so we can move out of shame and return to a space of love.

Learn how to bridge ancient wisdom with modern day technology in order to create Heaven on earth.
